Dura-Lite Receives Industrial Energy Innovator Award

CIPEC, a voluntary partnership between industry and the Government of Canada has been helping Canadian Industry cut costs and raise profits through energy efficiency for 30 years.

The Industrial Energy Innovators Energy Efficiency Awards recognize the outstanding achievements of Innovator companies that have distinguished themselves in their work to improve energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Dura-Lite^™ received the Industrial Energy Innovators Energy Efficiency Award on May 24th, 2005 in Ottawa, Ontario Canada in the category of Integrated Energy Efficiency Strategy.

Dura-Lite’s Energy Management Team partnered with expert consultants to design and build the award-winning space heating system. The system combines Geo-Thermal energy with process waste heat to obtain an integrated energy system that is 80% more efficient than the standard systems typically used.
